Project cost

Calculator for understanding the scope of work. Real estimate — only after discussing the task.

Important: Every project is unique and evaluated individually. The calculator shows approximate figures and helps understand what goes into development. Real timelines and costs will vary. We'll give a precise estimate after consultation.

This is not a commercial offer

The calculator shows approximate scope of work, but is not a project estimate. When forming the cost, we consider our interest in the project, current team workload, specific requirements, and task volume. Each project is individual and requires separate evaluation based on your needs.

Specialist rates on the market

Approximate freelance rates in Germany — to give you a sense of the order of magnitude

How to read the table

  • The range shows average daily rates of freelancers in Germany (Malt, 2026 data) at 3–7 and 8–15 years of experience, converted to a 6-hour day — the same number of productive hours per day we use for the timeline
  • The average hourly rate of an IT freelancer in the DACH region in 2026 is around €103 (Freelancer-Kompass 2026)
  • These are not our rates but approximate market data. The project cost is calculated differently — see "What makes up the cost"

How timeline is calculated

  • Workday — 6 hours of productive work
  • Workweek — 5 days (30 hours)
  • Parallel work — Backend and Designer work simultaneously, DevOps and PM join as needed
  • Sequential stages — Frontend starts after design, testing and security — at the end
